Hi Bogdan, thanks for the insight into your market. We have found this to be an issue in some of the emerging markets. We are committed to only working with consultants with a certain level of experience though, in order to give our clients an excellent service.

It will be quite complicated to find PR Consultans (with at least 10 years of experience - your standard) in eastern european countries. The PR industry is very young in this area.

Im am managing one of the oldest PR companies in Romania (if not the oldest) and at the beginning of 2009 we celebrated the 10th anniversary.

Hi

Thanks for raising the issue of providing pro bono PR support. I run Upward Curve PR, one of the agencies mentioned in the PR Week article. We have been adopting a charity of the year for the last six years. In addition each member of the team has five days pro bono that they can use to support smaller charities of their choice.

Providing pro bono support is a win-win situation, we get great experienc working with some really interesting clients and causes and the charity hopefully benefits from some great exposure and also we pass on skills that they can use in the future to help secure their own PR.
